After disabling aria2c as the backend for libzypp, yast worked fine again. From the tests I did, it looks as if aria2c does not handle IPv6 (or better, the lack of it) properly.

>Now aria2c stops with an error message because name resolution failed. The error is issued immediately, there is no timeout.
