current hald has a zombie process:

temporally fixed, removed the patch

I think we don't need this addon in HAL at the moment since LSB information is not part of hardware abstraction and it's currently not part of our or the upstream package. I close the bug now

Because the LATER and REMIND resolutions have been removed, the resolution of this bug has changed from REMIND to WONTFIX. If this bug needs to be reconsidered, reopen it and set a future "Target Milestone for Fix."
