Check whether i810_audio module is loaded. This will conflict with snd-intel8x0 module. Yes, i810_audio is/was loaded. i810_audio module is automatically loaded by hotlug. When yast wants to load ALSA module it fails, of course. I have just tested pre4 on my test machine - both drivers (OSS and ALSA) are loaded after reboot during installation. Hotplug should load only ALSA modules. Christian, this is one for the blacklist. i810_audio is in the blacklist and blacklist is used again since sysconfig-0.33. So this is fixed for beta 1.
