Hmm, #102564 says that hotplug itself works but KDE fails the problem is that our hot plug system changed dramatically and libhd didn't change to reflect that, so while everything using libhd compiles fine but doesn't work a bit. I'm still in process to rewriting the plugger to use HAL everywhere. Recent libhd (11.10) should do. we have tons of unconfigured hardware - most likely because yast doesn't write all of it. Not sure how to cope it yet, but has to wait for beta2 to see. For now the code is limited to display hardware that is plugged in while KDE runs. I'd say for now this is all fine, I will open new bugs as yast bugs reveal closed. |
