Description Simon Lush 2005-08-09 09:49:00 UTC
When logging into the opensuse website, the theme changes from the nice one
before you log in to a really ugly one.
Comment 1 Simon Lush 2005-08-09 09:50:00 UTC
Forgot to mention, that I cannot find any way to change the theme back except
from logging out.

Comment 5 Hendrik Vogelsang 2005-08-09 17:24:41 UTC
the wiki update (supposed its finished) does not fix that for me..
Comment 6 Jonathan Arsenault 2005-08-10 00:29:21 UTC
This bug has been fixed. From your account preference you just need to set the
quickbar alignment and your skin, save it and your set. well not axactlly fix
cuz it indeed switch you to a rather ugly default on new account creation but is
easilly worked arround.
Comment 7 Rasmus Plewe 2005-08-10 12:19:11 UTC
Well. The "Quickbar settings" tell me:

This preference only works in the 'Standard' and the 'CologneBlue' skin.

However, the only skin I'm offered under "Skins" is:

MonoBook (default)

So I don't consider this bug fixed.

Comment 9 Barry Hinrichs 2005-08-14 05:49:47 UTC
This bug is definitly not fixed and if very annoying. I have tried changing the
theme in the preferences, but I am also only offered monobook, and when I select
it, it doesnt save the changes even after I click save it reverts to having no
theme selected.

Comment 11 Barry Hinrichs 2005-09-05 19:30:11 UTC
NOTE: If you create a new username and password, it works just fine.
Comment 12 Forgotten User OS1JNCFbCX 2005-09-05 20:34:52 UTC
Setting MonoBook worked for me in the meantime even with my old account. Now
everything works ok for me.
Comment 13 Joe Harmon 2005-09-06 13:59:26 UTC
Setting MonoBook worked for me as well.
Comment 14 Jared Nyland 2005-09-20 23:31:43 UTC
(re)setting the theme solved the problem.
Comment 15 Rui Malheiro 2005-09-30 14:02:10 UTC
I'm experiencing this bug, however I'm unable to apply the workaround because
"Save preferences" doesn't seem to work (see bug
#19188)
Comment 16 Rui Malheiro 2005-10-03 10:49:57 UTC
Correction: Problem with not being able to save preferences is bug #119188
