Same problem occurs when choosing the language not in linuxrc but later in the first YaST2 screen where the list of languages is offered. The same problem occurs when I try to install the x86_64 machine in 32bit mode. We need the y2logs. But it seems to be a broken setup on your side. Broken setup? What setup? If the bug is real, that would mean we can't install in any language - which is certainly not the case. I can't reproduce it so far. Maybe the SLP source is broken? Could you, please, attach the y2logs? Difficult now because I cannot reboot the machine at the moment. I could successfully complete the installation by starting in English and then change the language to Japanese in the summary screen. Zhe Su <zsu@novell.com> and me are currently debugging Bug #103004 on that machine, if I reboot now I will disturb Zhe Su's debugging. I'll reboot as soon as possible and then reproduce the problem once more and attach the logs. Please, reopen the bug and attach YaST logs if you reproduce it... Thanks. No, I cannot reproduce it anymore. Beta3 and Beta4 work fine if I select Japanese or Chinese in linuxrc. |
