Description roland behunin roland behunin 2005-08-09 15:07:49 UTC
GRAMPS - The Genelogy Program for linux.
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=25770
I have succeed in running GRAMPS 2.05 (it may be 2.04) under SuSe 9.3.
I have also succeed in running one of the earlier versions.

A GUI program that will create DVD slide shows from photos and ogg files that
will play on a standard dvd player. This can be accomplished in Windows with
Nero or Roxio. However, the closest thing I can find that may accomplish this
is DVD Slideshow.

http://dvd-slideshow.sourceforge.net/

I have not been able to get this to run in SuSe 9.3 yet. I keep trying to.

I would also suggest Ogle and Okle dvd players, but there are copyright
problems with those.

These are the programs I end up chasing down on the internet when I upgrade
the Linux System.

Nothing for 10.0 - let's talk later about this.

Like Andreas said -> LATER.

mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy)

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
