I'm not sure if this is specific to LVM, but when I installed SL 10.0b1, I saw
the following error. The circumstances are that I have an ext3 filesystem on
/dev/system/home and attempted to mount it unformatted on /home. I did nothing
other than assign a mount point in the partitioning setup.

System error code was: -3003

Failure occured during following action:
Mounting /dev/system/home to /home
------------------8<---------------------

It appears the command used was "mount -t unknown /dev/system/home /home"

When I execute it manually from the shell, I get:
mount: unknown filesystem type 'unknown'

Hopefully this will contain everything from the start of installation.
Otherwise, I can reinstall to get fresh copies.
