Description Andreas Klein 2005-08-10 19:08:04 UTC
firefox and mozilla are again 64bit. Therefore the problem with different
plugins starts again.
I thought the decision to only deliver 32bit in bug 72209 was forever?
Comment 1 Robert O'Callahan 2005-08-11 00:34:31 UTC
We should certainly not change that decision until Macromedia releases a Flash
plugin that works with x86-64 Linux, and they haven't yet.
Comment 2 Andreas Jaeger 2005-08-11 19:39:00 UTC
Rudi, please take care of this for beta2.
Comment 3 Wolfgang Rosenauer 2005-08-15 12:54:41 UTC
hmm, we shipped firefox as 32bit application. Mozilla always was 64 bit.
We might be able to change this now as we have mozilla-nspr and mozilla-nss.
But epiphany and some others do still need the 64bit gecko provided by mozilla.

So I would go for Firefox in 32bit and mozilla in 64bit again.

ok, implemented.
