Description marcio ferreira 2005-08-10 22:21:28 UTC
When you select installation in portuguese from Brazil (pt_BR), kde installation
selects kde3-i18n-pt, even the pt_BR rpm is available in suse. I believe that
this must be quickfix (maybe a change in .SEL file, I think), and will help a
lot, cause lots of people think that it doesnt have pt_BR translation in SUSE.

yast2 installation logs

Ive added the yast2 logs, as requested. Also there is another attach, with
screenshots of yast selecting wrong *spell package and kde i18n package. This
happens for several suse versions, like 9.0 and newer. I believe OpenOffice has
wrong localisation too, but it doesnt ts have an rpm for pt_BR locale. Although
its available from openoffice.org.br, which I cant take a look, if needed.

Also, other localisations packages may go wrong, like koffice. Friend just told
me that :)
Comment 5 Klaus Kämpf 2005-08-11 06:17:12 UTC
There is no pt_BR in Kde-Desktop-10.0-27.noarch.sel
-> selection maintainer, kde-maintainers
Comment 6 Stefan Dirsch 2005-08-11 07:52:06 UTC
This issue has already been adressed for Beta2.
