Description Jiří Suchomel 2005-08-11 14:09:13 UTC
The boot menu is not translated to Danish. See bug #104084
Comment 1 Ines Pozo 2005-08-11 14:19:12 UTC
This is not a bug. The Danish translations are done by volunteers and there is
no Danish translation of bootloader available yet. If the Danish translation
is submitted, we will be happy to include it in the distribution.
Comment 2 Martin Møller 2005-08-11 22:35:36 UTC
This is my proposed text for the bootloader part of the translation. It should
all be perfectly understandable and to the point (cut'n'paste from #104084 with
a bit of retouching):

Loading Linux Kernel : Indlæser Linuxkernen
Boot From Harddisk: Start fra harddisk
Installation: Normal installation
Installation - APIC Disabled : Installation uden APIC understøttelse
Installation - Safe Settings: Fejlsikret installation
Rescue System: Redningssystem
Memory Test: Hukommelsestest (RAM)

Is this okay?

Martin, it doesn't work this way.

If you want to donate translations, provide complete da.po files. For this,
grab the package sources (for linuxrc, gfxboot in this case), search
for *.po, fill out the corresponding *.pot file that's in the directory
along with all the *.po files, rename it to da.po and attach it here.
Comment 4 Ines Pozo 2005-08-12 13:32:06 UTC
Martin, I will send you the po file directly via e-mail. If you have time and
want to translate it, we'll be very grateful :-) You can then send the
completed translation per e-mail to me or simply attach it here.

Danish translation of bootloader.pot

Thank you for the crash course via email. I have now translated the file and
tried to accomodate what passed for errors to KBabel. I assume <product> must
be changed to SUSE LINUX 10.0 (it didn't like it being just <product>). A few
words are the same since decent Danish words don't really exist (e.g. Server
and Driver). I could say 'Fjernvært' and, maybe 'drivenhed', but few people
would know what that would be ;)

Let me know if anything needs to be changed.
Comment 6 Ines Pozo 2005-08-12 14:53:14 UTC
Thanks, I just committed the translated file. I restored <product> because it
will be replaced automatically with the correct product name (it could be SUSE
Linux, OpenSUSE, etc.). If you are interested in contributing with additional
Danish translations, let me know (but please directly via e-mail). I'll close
the bug now.
Comment 7 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-08-12 14:58:59 UTC
Thanks, the file works fine.
