Description Anders Norrbring 2005-08-11 14:45:42 UTC
This is in a VMware GSX 3.2 virtual machine.

The installer runs up to the point "Analyzing Hardware", it never comes to any
conclusion, so it looks as a hang. However, I can back up with the button, so
the system isn't frozen.
I can also use manual printer, bluetooth, etc. choices by clicking the "change"
button. The graphics settings aren't available, I get a dialog box that tells
me to "Use the hyperlinks for your changes".

I can go on by clicking "Next". I don't know if this is a VMware specific
problem, that it can't access the graphics correctly.

More logs after running SaX2

Here are the logs after I rebooted, went to runlevel 5, logged in and tried to
start SaX2. It came as far as "Loading monitors" etc, and then it died and
went back to the command prompt.
