Agreed. I'm happy with moving it to -nongpl as long as -nongpl is still installed and updated by default. :-) BTW, the same applies to /lib/modules/precompiled/<kernel>/nvidia/gfx/nv-linux.o-1.0-7667.pre /lib/modules/scripts/nvidia/<kernel>/nv-linux.o-1.0-7667 I think that anything below /lib/modules/precompiled/ /lib/modules/scripts/ should reside in -nongpl. Stefan, please put it into nongpl. Better Andreas will do this. It's a kernel packaging issue. Can we ignore this until we switch nvidia over to the new kernel driver rpms? It's still not sure whether this will already happen for 10.0. I still didn't find the time to care of the new driver update process. So please do it. |
