Description Jeremy Sabin 2005-08-12 01:39:09 UTC
when installing suse linux 10.0 beta the partitioning doesn't recognize all the
windows partitions.

System: Dual booted with windows and linux.

Steps to reproduce: run the installer on a machine to be dual booted, look in
the partitioning section and the windows partitions dont' show up.

Workaround: to get it to recognice it you have to go into the partitioning tab
and under the expert options you have to tell it to reread partition table.
When you do this it recognizes all the partitions, but after you ahve to specify
when is going to be the root partition and that it needs to be formatted.

I have been trying to re-replicate this bug so that I could send you the
yast2log but, for some reason I am not able to do it, so it could just have
been a fluke. I also am not able to send you the log because I never have
finished the install because of another problem I am having with the boot
loader in the installation. Sorry for the trouble
