Description Pascal Bleser 2005-08-12 22:29:30 UTC
The binary /usr/bin/autopoint is missing in the gettext RPM in 10.0-beta1
(gettext-0.14.3-6), although it's present in SUSE 9.3's gettext RPM
(gettext-0.14.1-39).
autopoint seems to be required by autotools (e.g. autoreconf):
+ autoreconf -f -i
Can't exec "autopoint": No such file or directory at
/usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/FileUtils.pm line 288, <GEN0> line 263.

BTW, this bug is triggered when building (rpmbuild --rebuild) the following
source RPM:
http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/apt4rpm/9.3/apt-0.5.15cnc7-0.suse093.rb0.src.rpm
Comment 1 Pascal Bleser 2005-08-12 22:37:33 UTC
Sorry, reported too early. /usr/bin/autopoint is now part of gettext-devel.
Closing the case.
Comment 2 Stefan Sauer 2005-11-20 16:12:09 UTC
It have gettext-0.14.3-6, but there is no gettext-devel package at all.
Comment 3 Dr. Werner Fink 2005-11-21 10:27:13 UTC
gettext-devel is part of the box. Have a look onto the DVD or
use our FTP server.
