Description Forgotten User OS1JNCFbCX 2005-08-13 04:57:31 UTC
When starting licq without user configuration it gives me a dialog box to
register existing accounts. So I register my existing ICQ account and login to
the server. Everything works flawlessly up to this point. I can even logout and
relogin to the server successfully.

But as soon as I end the application and restart it, no further login is
possible and the following messages appear in the log on each login attempt:

06:56:54: [SRV] Requesting logon (#12266)...
06:56:54: [SRV] Connecting to login server.
06:56:54: [SRV] Resolving login.icq.com port 5190...
06:56:54: [SRV] ICQ server found at 205.188.179.233:5190.
06:56:54: [SRV] Opening socket to server.
06:56:55: [WRN] error during receiving from server socket :-((
                Connection reset by peer
06:56:55: [SRV] Dropping server connection.

Did some more investigation:

licq stores the correct uin to the config file.

But when starting licq it changes the uin setting in the config file to uin 0.

When I set the uin again to the correct value in the owner manager it works
again for the current session.

Still happens with beta4.

No single response for three weeks. Anyone alive?

I am now trying to debug it. Still no success.
Comment 4 Vladimir Nadvornik 2005-09-05 13:18:46 UTC
The Uin is stored also in Owner1.Id in licq.conf and this was broken.
Now it is fixed.
