Description Anders Norrbring 2005-08-13 09:51:38 UTC
I've tried to install over NFS, no luck.

So I installed from CDs, then tried to mount the NFS share both manully and vis
YaST2, no luck with that either.

The server exporting the share reports:
Aug 13 11:19:34 beata rpc.mountd: export request from 192.168.222.200
Aug 13 11:20:05 beata rpc.mountd: bad path in mount request from
192.168.222.200: "/store1/Archives"

This works from another machine running a SuSE 9.3, as you can see in the server
log:
Aug 13 11:51:00 beata rpc.mountd: authenticated mount request from
agda.the-server.net:943 for /store1/Archives/SuSE/10.0 (/store1/Archives)

Invalidated.
Seems like it was a faulty NIC, I replaced it with another, same make and model,
and now it works fine.
