$ zgrep konversation INDEX.gz ./CD3/suse/i586/konversation-0.18-4.i586.rpm there is strong disagreement about putting another irc client into the default install. Dirk, there is no (other) IRC client in the "KDE Desktop Environment" selection. If you have Xchat installed it's because you have "GNOME System" selection installed. I use konversation. Kopete is in the KDE-desktop selection, and it can do IRC as well (not very well though). Konversation is listed in the Productivity/Network/IRC group. maybe this can be reconsidered for 10.1 though. our default KDE will be for the time being trailed for average home user. And IRC is considered "just another protocol" I consider changing my mind AJ, may I? Michael, any concerns? Coolo go ahead on monday unless Michael raises a issue. don't see any - Stefan, can you please add that to KDE-Desktop? fixed for Beta4. |
