Sorry but if you want to use the console stuff, the messages should be in a well order and visible. A further interface between losetup and the boot splash could be unsecure. An extension with the help of the `-p' option of the losetup could be an option for the splash interface for the next release Just do 'cat /proc/splash' and check if it is in silent mode. Do the same
after losetup. If it has dropped out of silent mode, do 'echo silent
> /proc/splash'
Done, nevertheless, there is no interface for a passphrase/password interface usable with the splash. |
