Description Armin Mohring 2005-08-15 15:39:18 UTC
Suse 10.0 Beta 1
After using K3b (buring a data CD with 4,3GB) I wanted to reboot the system.
No reaction.
Logon on console as root.
command: "reboot" - reaction of system: killed
command: "shutdown -r now" - reaction of system: nothing

tried to reproduce, works for me
Comment 2 Dr. Werner Fink 2005-08-16 09:35:39 UTC
Reboot under linux should not kill the system but run a normal
shutdown. This is the normal behaviour for SuSE LINUX.
I cannot reproduce this, therefore provide better informations,
like the version the of package sysvinit

@Armin: Without information how to reproduce this I'm not able
to fix this nor to find the appropiate person todo this.
Please give some more information, thanks.
