When attempting to use the yast/ncurses samba server component, yast crashes with:

/sbin/yast: line 207:  2284 Aborted $ybindir/y2base menu ncurses

The progress bar is at 66%, with "Reading the back-end settings" as the current
operation.

/etc/samba/smb.conf looks fine.

Does it work in Qt (graphical interface) properly?

Please, attach also y2logs.

This bug is a duplicate of bug #99712
Reported as: "SIGABRT in SCR .ldap"

samba-server works well with the new package ldapcpplib.rpm which will be in Beta2.
