Description Christian Boltz 2005-08-15 20:10:54 UTC
I just noticed that kpowersave displays the battery level very pessimistic on
my laptop (Acer TravelMate 803).

My battery is fully loaded - but kpowersave displayed values between 80 and
63% loaded. Additionally, the load percentage decreased although I had the
power supply unit connected.

The leds at the laptop and kpowersave from 9.3 both showed that the battery is
fully loaded and power connected.

I'll attach /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/* from 10.0 beta1 and 9.3.

We changed many things within HAL,powersave and KPowersave. Can't reproduce this
currently. So please recheck with Beta2 and if you have the problem already on
beta2, reopen and attach output of:

- lshal
- powersave -s -b -d -B

Please do not simply close bugs which you can not reproduce. Please wait until
you have agt least heard from the reporter that it is now better.
