The following german KDE "tip of the day" ends with a "-->" with shouldn't be 
there:

KDE-Druck über die Befehlszeile (I) 
Möchten Sie über die Befehlszeile drucken, ohne auf die vielen Möglichkeiten 
des KDE-Druckmoduls zu verzichten? 
Geben Sie einfach kprinter ein. Darauf öffnet sich das Dialogfenster des 
KDE-Druckprogramms. Wählen Sie den Drucker, die Druckoptionen und die Dateien 
aus. (Sie können Dateien verschiedenen Typs in einem und demselben Auftrag 
angeben.) 
Das funktioniert aus Konsole, jedem X-Terminal sowie dem Fenster "Befehl 
eingeben", das sich nach dem Drücken von Alt+F2 öffnet.

Please remove the "-->" at the end of the text. 
 
I don't know if there are more tips with this problem - if you point me to the 
file containing the texts, I'll have a look at it.

I fixed that for KDE 3.5, but it would break all translations and that can't 
be done for 10.0. 
 
We're talking about http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/3.5/kdebase/ktip/tips 
btw
