Description Francis Earl 2005-08-16 12:06:32 UTC
Bugs, such as 100697, are not public.

I do not understand why openSUSE bugs would be kept private considering
openSUSE's goals concering community development.

There are certain things I like to track, I filed a bug on related to stated
bug because I wished to follow it.

Anyway, please rethink this, bugs certainly shouldn't be private.
Comment 1 Carl-Daniel Hailfinger 2005-08-31 20:53:15 UTC
SUSE has a team working on making existing non-public bugs accessible to
everyone. Please understand that Bugzilla also tracks bugs which are not related
to openSUSE or where the reporter included private/personal data. In such cases
opening the bug doesn't make sense.
Comment 2 Adrian Schröter 2005-10-17 09:50:45 UTC
We do not want to go through all old bugreports and review them for opening up because of needed worktime.

However, all new bugs are public be default. Please ask me, if you need access to some bug.

this bugreport has been made public meanwhile.
