Comment 2 Thomas Fehr 2005-08-17 09:13:31 UTC
So far there is no support for formatting hfs in libstorage at all.
We will add that for SLES10.
Comment 3 Joachim Plack 2005-08-24 09:32:30 UTC
I fear we need that earlier for openSUSE & SuLi
Comment 4 Joachim Plack 2005-08-24 09:34:20 UTC
I will look what I can do. Would be nice if fehr@ could give me a hint or two
while going forward as his time permits.
Comment 5 Thomas Fehr 2005-08-24 09:40:12 UTC
Since there are not much bug reports for SL 10.0 currently I could have a
look into that.

Can you provide me with a test machine that has 10.0 beta#2 installed and
contains at least one valid hfs filesystem and at least one free partition
that can be formatted.
Comment 6 Thomas Fehr 2005-08-24 10:24:53 UTC
Ok, I added hfs support to libstorage.
Source of yast2-storage for testing can be found at
/suse/fehr/Export/yaste-storage-hfs.
