Description Thomas Schmidt 2005-08-17 13:23:10 UTC
Booting stops with the message:

ata2: SATA max UDME/133 cmd 0x170 ctl 0x376 bmdma 0xF008 irq 15
ata2: dev 0 ATAPI, max UDMA/66
ata2(0): applying bridge limits
ata2: dev 0 configured for UDMA/66
scsi1 : ata_piix
  Vendor: HL-DT-ST Model: DVDRAM GSA-4163B Rev: A100
  Type: CD-ROM ANSI
SCSI revision: 05

This did work in Beta1. When I detach the CDRoms I can boot.
The CDRoms are IDE devices, that seem to be handled as SATA internally.

Jens, this is for you. Enjoy :)
Comment 3 Thomas Schmidt 2005-08-25 10:02:06 UTC
Seems to be fixed with Beta3, system boots and
cdroms work as expected.
