Description Takashi Iwai 2005-08-18 12:58:06 UTC
The audio setup at the first installation seems still buggy on beta2.
The volumes are all muted and not raised. The muted state is found in
/etc/asound.state.

Reconfiguring the sound via yast2-sound resets the volume in a proper level.

That's strange, my installatino test was fine.

FYI, the machine has no "Master" but only "Front" volume and "Headphone" switch.
"Front" is not unmuted (but raised) even with the second configuration.
But I guess this is a different bug from the one I saw in the first installation.

Oh, these channels were not initialized...

Fixed in yast2-sound-2.12.9
