Samsung 757NF monitor, .inf file

Description Igor Jagec 2005-08-18 14:57:27 UTC
Samsung 757NF not detected at all on SuSE 9.0, 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3. The
autodetected monitor is Syncmaster 4S, instead of Samsung 700NF which works, but
with wrong modeline. If a user doesn't make the manual change from Syncmaster 4S
to Samsung 700NF, he or she will see the black blank screen before first login,
and even not the console.

Hope you will fix it this time.

Regards,
Igor Jagec, Croatia.

I suppose we need the output of hwinfo, see:

Samsung 757NF monitor, .inf file

I am sending the .inf file in attach. Hope it helps all the information I sent.
The problem is that I am on Fedora Core 4 now, so I cannot use sax2 and all the
other tools you reccomand me to use.

Regards,
Igor Jagec
