Description Nat Budin 2005-08-18 15:14:51 UTC
This occurs whether require-valid-certificates is on or not. Whenever you
attempt to add a Red Carpet service that uses https, you get the following message:

ERROR: Unable to mount service for 'https://whatever.whatever.com/data': Unable
to download service info: IO error - Soup error: SSL handshake failed (6)

For example, try "rug sa https://red-carpet.americas.novell.com". It won't
work. I was able to work around this by using stunnel to forward that server to
me locally as a non-SSL-wrapped HTTP service and then adding it to rcd.

Henne, is this something for you?

Package will not get delivered on 10.0. Reopen and assign to the ZLM people if
you think this is a general bug in rcd...

This only happens on 10.0, right?

Actually, it only happened on 10.0 beta 1 (and possibly 2, I didn't check
there). As of beta 3, I stopped seeing it. I figured that was because of
something you'd done to fix it, but it might be because of bugs being fixed in
dependencies.
