Description Thomas Schmidt 2005-08-18 17:11:07 UTC
I installed fglrx as said in /usr/share/doc/packages/fglrx/README.SuSE.
When running as NIS user GL applications such as glxgears can't
open /dev/dri/card0 because of the default permissions.

tschmidt@bessel:~> l /dev/dri/card0
crw-rw---- 1 root video 226, 0 2005-08-18 18:47 /dev/dri/card0

but I am not in the group video.
