Description Ladislav Michnovic 2005-08-19 08:59:53 UTC
When I run amaroK it shows Error message:
amaroK could not initialize the helix-engine. Please check the paths in "amaroK
Settings" -> "Engine"
In settings, there is a path for Helix Engine: /usr/local/RealPlayer/common,
which doesn't exists on my computer.
When quiting amaroK it open KMail with message :

To: amarok-backtraces@lists.sf.net

amaroK has crashed! We're terribly sorry about this :(

But, all is not lost! You could potentially help us fix the crash. amaroK has
attached a backtrace that describes the crash, so just click send, or if you
have time, write a brief description of how the crash happened first.

Many thanks.

it's fixed after beta2. I think you can configure the paths in the engine
config - the /usr/local has to be replaced with /usr/lib afaik
