Description Darragh O Heiligh 2005-08-19 09:58:54 UTC
When assistive technology support is enabled in Gnome users still have to add
the following line to their .bashrc to tell applications to use the ATK-
Bridge. This should be done by default.
export GTK_MODULES=gail:atk-bridge

What applications are you trying? You should only have to do this for things
that don't use gnome libs (ie gtk only apps) like gaim according to the a11y people.
Comment 2 Darragh O Heiligh 2005-08-22 15:17:31 UTC
Very true. It is only necessary to include this variable for applications such
as Gaim however to make SuSE more accessible to users of assistive
technologies such as Gnopernicus this should be added by default when the
accessibility support is enabled.
