Description Fabrizio Magni 2005-08-19 13:06:31 UTC
Not sure this can be considered a bug but I didn't obtained any information from
the suse-beta-e mailing list.

Since I mess with oracle I'm a heavy user for aio capabilities.

SUSE 10 doesn't show libaio and libaio-devel anywhere.

ARCHIVES.gz doesn't show them.
Are they missing?

Are they not necessary anymore?

Oracle needs them to relink its executable properly (this should not be true for
10gR2).

Maybe they just did not make it into the beta releases.
Rudi did we intentionally remove libaio from SL 10.0

ok, added. but please all, be aware that the CD set will never have all
possible packages, 5 CDs just do not have enough space
