Description Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-20 08:09:32 UTC
The Back/Abort/Next/Help Buttons should always have the same keyboard shortcut
on every screen. Maybe the algorithm to get this shortcuts conflict free
should be changed to add at first the shortcut to this four buttons and then
to the others?

It is very ugly to look at every screen at first which keys you know have to
press.

That would certainly desirable, but so far we don't have a good idea how to
implement that without giving up automatic keyboard shortcut conflict
resolution.

Fixed along with bug #229741: Buttons now get higher priority for their favourite keyboard shortcut than other widgets, and wizard buttons get even more.

So if a keyboard shortcut conflict can be resolved at all without changing the shortcut of a wizard button, the wizard buttons will keep their shortcuts. Only if there is no other way to resolve the conflict, even wizard buttons will be considered for the negotiations.
