Anyone working on this? It is still there in beta4. I know, you have a better chance reporting this bug to the original authors, at http://www.fvwm.org/cgi-bin/fvwm-bug Ahm, isn't this just a bug of Suse not providing/setting up a background picture for 1400x1050? The wallpaper seems to be 1280x1050, so as far as I can see you just need to add another wallpaper... I don't think it's reasonable to provide a wallpaper in every possible resolution, there are far too many. Instead, the WM should scale the wallpaper correctly no matter what. Clearly a bug in fvwm, anyways assigning to the new maintainer. I think it is not bug of fvwm. Fvwm simple rescale picture vertically. There is no simple workaround, either provide non standard wallpaper or ugly stretch wallpaper on background. I think rightest solution is create new wallpaper with proper resolution. Copy /etc/X11/fvwm2/system.fvwm2rc to ~/.fvwm2.rc and add line Exec fvwm-root you_picture.png fvwm-root cannot resize picture so i will use xli in default config file. "Exec fvwm-root you_picture.png" -> "Exec xli -onroot -border -fillscreen" heal this bug. I will fix this for beta. Closing this bug. |
