Marcus, please have a look. The monitor is detected as generic monitor which means there is no
real detection from libhd:
59: None 00.0: 10000 Monitor
[Created at fb.70]
Unique ID: rdCR.EY_qmtb9YY0
Hardware Class: monitor
Model: "Generic Monitor"
Vendor: "Generic"
Device: "Monitor"
Resolution: 800x600@75Hz
Driver Info #0:
Max. Resolution: 800x600
Vert. Sync Range: 50-90 Hz
Hor. Sync Range: 31-48 kHz
Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown
This happens if there is no DDC information available which is in
almost all cases a hardware problem. Please check out the following:
- Is the monitor connected via BNC cable ?
- Is the monitor connected via a KVM switch ?
- Is the monitor capable of doing DDC (monitor manual)
The monitor is not part of the CDB so if somebody can send me specs
I can add it but with the autodetection information this is not possible
I am not technician and I cannot answer your questions. I reported this bug because I see that Mandriva, Ubuntu-live or Knoppix use the right resolution for LCD screen on nx6110. nice to know but how should I investigate or fix a bug without further information ? |
