Description Thomas Horsley 2005-08-21 00:11:10 UTC
After setting up some bookmarks, submitting a couple of bugs, I remembered
that one of the things I like is for firefox to startup with a blank
home page, so I brought up the Edit/Preferences dialog and clicked
on "use blank page", and my firefox window disappeared.

After restarting firefox, it does look like it took the setting, because
I did startup on a blank page.

It has since crashed a couple of additional times when adding bookmarks
(sometimes it works, sometimes it crashes). In each case it appears as though
it did add the bookmark, then crashed afterward because the new bookmarks
are in the list when I restart.

A crasher like this has been fixed for beta3. I'm not absolutely sure if it's
the same but please test again with beta3. I'm pretty sure that it's catched by
that.

I'm using beta3 right now, and have setup several bookmarks, switched
my home to blank page, etc. No crash yet. Looks like it probably is fixed.

Hopefully. Please reopen if needed.
