Description James Ots 2005-08-21 10:35:20 UTC
Everywhere else in KDE, when I point to an icon the pointer changes to a hand,
so I know that just one click will activate it. But in Yast it doesn't, so I'm
never sure whether to double click or not. And because it takes a while for
the modules to start, sometimes I'll click once, nothing seems to be
happening, so I'll double click, and then I get the module twice. So it would
be nice if the pointer changed to a hand in Yast too. (At least when using
KDE, I'm not sure what it'd be like in Gnome.)

And it'd be nice if Yast honoured the KDE single click settings when in KDE.

Since the YaST2 Control Center isn't a KDE application this might
be a bit difficult.
Comment 2 Stefan Hundhammer 2005-08-22 12:26:43 UTC
Double-click is explicitly caught by the YaST2 control center - I just checked
again.

As for the mouse cursor, this is the default behaviour of the Qt toolkit which
we will not change just like this. YaST2 is not a KDE application, it is a Qt
application. We have to take care of integration into desktops other than KDE,
too.
