Description Raymond Wooninck 2005-08-21 10:40:52 UTC
Since the update to Beta 1 and Beta 2, I am no longer able to choose the required
profile (based on Yast2 Profile Manager) from the GRUB Boot menu.

I am not sure which files I should upload to support this bug, but please let me
know. The Profile manager itself works fine and I can switch using the KDE applet
without any problems. However it was always very nice to have this option already
at boot time, given that certain environment settings changes based on the chosen
profile.

Yast2 Profile Manager doesn't handle this: Joachim, how is it done, is it
written to group menu.lst file?

Jiri, is such case yast2-bootloader should handle the update.

I can't handle it proporly unless I get
- the original manu.lst before update
- the resulting menu.lst after update
- the logs

The profile menu is now hidden, you need to press F2 for "Other Options", then
you should be able to choose a profile. Please note that booting into a
profile is broken in Beta2 (bug 106246).
