Works correctly in beta 3 with workaround for #112915 (edit 50-udev.rules). Yes, Beta3 has a fixed ifup-wireless, forgot to close the bug. |
Configured ThinkPad T40 built-in wireless card ("Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter") using YaST, following same steps I used to get it working in SUSE 9.3, but can't see the network. Some details: 1) on-board Ethernet uses ifplugd, unplugged during config 2) 64-bit encryption, four keys, second is default 3) kinternet shows connected icon after clicking 4) ipw module was installed from /pub/suse/i386/10.0/SUSE-Linux10.0-Beta2-Extra/kernel-modules+firmware on ftp.suse.com Attachments follow...
