Description Glenn Holmer 2005-08-21 16:36:42 UTC
Configured ThinkPad T40 built-in wireless card ("Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B
Mini PCI Adapter") using YaST, following same steps I used to get it working in
SUSE 9.3, but can't see the network. Some details:

1) on-board Ethernet uses ifplugd, unplugged during config
2) 64-bit encryption, four keys, second is default
3) kinternet shows connected icon after clicking
4) ipw module was installed from
/pub/suse/i386/10.0/SUSE-Linux10.0-Beta2-Extra/kernel-modules+firmware on
ftp.suse.com

Works correctly in beta 3 with workaround for #112915 (edit 50-udev.rules).
Comment 4 Joachim Gleissner 2005-08-28 11:08:51 UTC
Yes, Beta3 has a fixed ifup-wireless, forgot to close the bug.
