kraxel is on vacation Does it really crash? If the device doesn't exist yet the initscript starts lircd without parameters. Then, if someone (e.g. vdr during bootup) connects to lirc it quits. If you start it manually again it works of course as the device is now present. I've submitted a lirc package with modified init script and udev rules that actually create /dev/input/ir. Works fine on my laptop with cinergyT2 as well as AverTV. |
