Description Thomas Horsley 2005-08-21 21:34:58 UTC
If I right click in desktop, pick Configure Desktop..., pick Display I see my
correct current video settings (which happen to be 1280x768 @ 58 HZ).

In the same session, if I go through Yast2, Graphics card & Monitor, it
loads a batch of SAX2 modules, then comes up with a dialog that claims
my current setting is 800x600@60HZ.

This is a bit confusing (and I wouldn't have been going through yast at
all if I could have found a way to enable 3D accelleration via the
Configure Desktop... dialog).

This is because sax didn't load the current configuration because of
Bug: 105207. I think this patch has been done after beta2

Yep, this appears to be fixed in the Beta3 I just installed.
