Keyboard not functioning in installation meny and the clock has stopped,

The hardware im using is a acer travelmate 8104WLMi.

Issue of linuxrc. And since it only affect special hardware not a blocker.

The menu is already drawn? 
 
Could be about anything, likely some problem in your BIOS. 
It's the only such report I've got so far, so I don't think this is 
critical. 
 
In any case, hold down SHIFT while the boot loader starts and you'll 
get the classical text mode prompt.
