Hmm the configuration looks good to me and the log is ok as well don't know why there is no output, seems to be a radeon driver problem on PPC ? Nothing obvious I could find in the logfile. Maybe on ppc only 16bit color depth works. Please give it a try. Color depth doesn't matter. Hopefully at least using fbdev works. Sometimes it also helps to use the framebuffer resolution with the ati driver. Andreas, did you try my proposal of comment #5 meanwhile? yes. Sorry, wrong because useless question. Questions should be. 1) Does fbdev work? 2) Does ati driver work, when you use the same framebuffer resolution. UseFBDev works. Resolution is fixed. You mean the option "UseFBDev", right? I can add this option to x11DB. Should I? I'd rather see the radeon driver fixed. :-) Sure. --> LATER reopen for retesting ... Could you try again with 10.1 Beta? Thanks. Still the same. Just for the record. Using the "radeon10b" driver would be worth a try. See previous comment. I cannot test it any more. Oops. Probably hardware is no longer available. Let's close it now. |
