1) The translation of "Desktop Selection" during the installtion.  You may see a
screenshot at http://shots.osdir.com/slideshows/406/9.gif is made with
"Bildschirm Einstellungen" this is really misleading. 

I would suggest something like "Auswahl der Desktop-Umgebung".

2) The partitioning dialog during install contains "Partitions-Setup basieren
auf diesen Vorschlag ausführen".  There is a letter missing it should be
"basierend", so with a "d".

I'd say we must not change the 1st issue at this very state of the SL release
cycle, because it is probably mentioned in the manual.  What do you think, Thomas?

The 2nd seems to be a simple typo, to be verified by Kerry.

1) The string is not mentioned in the manual, so fixing would be possible.
2) Don't know if fixing is possible at this state in the release cycle.

1. Correct, "Bildschirm-Einstellungen" is a translation for "Desktop Settings".
Needs to be changed in control.de.po, installation.de.po and packager.de.po when
files comes back from translation.

2. Correct, this is a typo. Will fix in storage.de.po (line5808) when file comes
back from translation.

"Desktop Selection" I'd simply translate as "Desktop auswaehlen" oder "Desktop
festlegen".

"Desktop Settings" is properly translated as "Bildschirm-Einstellungen", I'd
say.  Question is whether "Desktop Settings" is the proper English string,
though.  I'd rather go for "Screen" oder "Display settings".

1. Consulted linguist and they preferred to translate "Desktop Selection" as
"Desktop auswaehlen". Should be in for Beta4. control.de.po and packager.de.po

2. Fixed typo in storage.de.po should be in for Beta4
