To reproduce: (assumes the phone is paired correctly) 
start konqueror. 
type  
bluetooth:/ 
click on a phone 
click on the "com1" icon.  
 
Under 9.3, it used to start the btserial client.  
Under 10.0b2 it doesn't.

Change in /opt/kde3/share/applications/kde/kbtserialchat.desktop the line "Hidden=true" to "X-SuSE-Unimportant=true". Fixed for 10.1.
