The "System Configuration Profile Management" can take care of this. If this doesn't work for you please reopen the bug with detailed information about the problem. OK, I didn't know this method. But it looks like a heavy method for just create and select another internet settings. This system is more global and more for administrator than end-user. What about a simplier way integrate in YAST -> Network ? Yes, there are plans for this. But I don't think they will cover all of DNS, WEP, IP, routes, ... Stefan might know more. It looks like a heave method but it is currently the only one. SCPM was designed for end-users, too, especially if you use the kscpm for easy switching (after creating the profiles). I don't see an 'add-on' coming in network module in the near future currently. Here is an example of what can be done about this : http://qa.mandriva.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/EasyWifi |
