When configure bluetooth YaST (re)start bluetooth service, but not enable
/etc/init.d/bluetooth on default run level.
Comment 1 Arvin Schnell 2005-08-23 09:09:38 UTC
Please provide YaST2 logs of configuration of bluetooth, see:
http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST
Comment 2 Ladislav Slezák 2005-09-06 08:00:08 UTC
AFAIK bluetooth service is not needed to be in the default runlevel. Bluetooth
services should be started by hotplug whenever a bluetooth adapter is found
(during boot or by a hotplug event in runtime).

Stefan?
Comment 3 Stefan Behlert 2005-09-30 15:22:58 UTC
That's correct.
It is sufficient to select "enable bluetooth services", it is not needed to
add the bluetooth-service to a runlevel.
The bluetooth-service-daemons are then automatically started when a built-in
Bluetooth-device is plugged in (either during booting by the hardware
detection or later during run-time when a Bluetooth-adapter is plugged into a
USB-port or the 'hardware-switch' of a Laptop is used to activate a built-in
device).
If a Bluetooth-adapter is not recognized for you, please give information
which one and reopen the bug, thanks.
