<remedy_details> eDir 8.7.3 on Solaris 9 + idm201
SunOne 5.2 on win2000, connected via ldap driver in changelog mode
Have scaled eDir <-> sunone to 5 million-plus users
Tried to run dlat from win2000 box to see if it could handle the users

At about 2 million user objects, dlat seems to run out of resources (or is
limited by the os to 2 gigs?) see attach

as a side note, the dlat installer also asks the user if they would like to
see the README file, which doesn't seem to exist.
May be a 2-for-1 fix; include a readme with a known issue! </remedy_details>

Jon agrees that we should push this one to later.
Comment 2 Tom Sanders 2005-11-15 19:19:38 UTC
This was marked "Resolved, Later" with Fixed in Milestone = Spitfire FCS. I have changed it to be Resolved, Later, and Fixed in Milestone = Future. But this defect may be irrelevant due to replacing the DLAT utility with the new licence auditing tool...

Reopening this defect so we can mark it Closed/Fixed instead of Closed/Later.
