When I try to switch my bluetooth headset to HSP/HFP mode via KDE GUI, bluetooth stops working completely, the only option is to reboot computer. rfkill and hardware switches don't save the situation

What about unloading and reloading the driver module?
Comment 2 Al Cho 2018-09-04 04:45:49 UTC
May we have more logs for that? (eg. fully journalctl and dmesg
Comment 3 Iakov Karpov 2018-09-05 05:28:36 UTC
Well, I think bug should be closed for now. I did hit it with no problem last Friday, but for some reason I can't reproduce it anymore.

You see, I was experimenting with bumblebee/nvidia driver a lot over the weekend to workaround nasty nouveau problems, tried different kernel versions, etc. And after that I don't have any problems with bluetooth headset, even with stock kernel and firmware. I don't really know why, maybe it's because I broke something horribly, maybe it's because something was fixed by purging and reinstalling multiple system packages :)

OK, let's close now. Feel free to reopen if the issue is reproduced reliably. Thanks.
